Minimum 1–2 years of experience in concrete finishing or construction work
We are currently seeking skilled Concrete Finishers to join construction teams for multiple residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for placing, leveling, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces to ensure durability and high-quality results. This position requires knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, construction safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently on active construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, pour, and finish concrete for various construction projects including foundations, floors, sidewalks, driveways, and curbs.
- Spread, level, and smooth concrete using tools such as trowels, floats, screeds, and power finishing equipment.
- Monitor concrete curing processes to ensure proper hardening and surface finish.
- Set forms for sidewalks, curbs, and other concrete structures.
- Apply sealing and waterproofing compounds to protect concrete surfaces.
- Repair and resurface existing concrete structures.
- Operate hand and power tools including power trowels, vibrators, screeds, and concrete saws.
- Inspect finished concrete surfaces for quality, smoothness, and structural integrity.
- Follow blueprints and construction specifications to meet project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work closely with construction supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Physical ability to perform manual labour, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Conditions
- Work is performed primarily at construction sites.
- Exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and changing weather conditions.
- Use of protective equipment such as gloves, helmets, and safety boots is required.
